  1. About 10 years ago McShane and Wyner put together a thoughtful and pretty condamming statistical analysis of proxie data:
    “We find that the proxies do not predict temperature significantly better than random series generated independently of temperature.”
    There was a lot of loud words about this paper and a rejoinder by McShane and Wyner, which in my opinion defended and validated every point they made erlier.
    Then 10years of silence about this.
    How can it be possible to have ANY proxie reconstruction as long as that paper is not refuted?

  2. There seems to be some organization, Temperature. Global that checks upwards of 70,000 stations an hour and determines global temperature. Who are they?
