Scientific evidence shows current temperatures are unusually cool, not hot. Just over a century ago, the Earth emerged from the Little Ice Age, which was the coldest period of the past 10,000 years. Before the Little Ice Age, and during most of the time period that human civilization has existed, temperatures were warmer than today.
