Forbes ran an article titled “You Must Not ‘Do Your Own Research’ When It Comes To Science.” They claim that you lack the expertise to sift between truth and lies, so you shouldn’t do any research and trust what the experts say. We disagree. Do your own research and make up your own mind.

Climate science is in it’s absolute infancy and science community is making new discoveries daily. The community needs temp., precip. and water vapour data from rural ground weather stations worldwide more than computer models.
The extreme complexity makes the climate impossible to model or predict. Atmospheric composition is but one of 24 processes and co2 is minute part of it.
The inherent complexity ensures the climate will always be changing. It is anyone’s guess what is in our climate future.
In my opinion, the Forbes article was not only wrong, but probably had no impact.
Simplistically the world is divided into two; those who understand what “science” is and those that don’t.
The latter BELIEVE the consensus of the “experts” and wouldn’t be inclined to do any research on their own anyway. The former also know the meaning of NULLIUS IN VERBA and will ignore the Forbes suggestion.
The unfortunate fact is that the split today falls along political lines to the detriment of our nation.
No, you CAN’T find information on both sides. That’s the problem. The only place I find actual research and scientific details are almost always in the *denier* camp. I have never seen a Forbes, Reuters, etc report on anything scientific that links back to research: NEVER.
